We work with our clients to answer today's most pressing business questions:

Thoughts on being developers

Our clients are our business – We take time to know our customers, and we learn from them. If we are interested and the job is within our capability, we will work harder than usual. The more problems we can help our customers solve, the better for us. Being a learner means being open to new approaches and approaching each project with fresh eyes.

  • Some clients are unique – we love them for opening doors to new adventures.
  • Some clients publish books – we love seeing their books with the illustrations we have provided to them.
  • Some clients are local – we love to socialize with them; think BBQ, sailing and interesting conversations.
  • Some clients are “youngsters” – they motivate us to keep up with the latest technology. The Master said, "Respect the young. How do you know that they will not one day be all that you are now? - Confucius, Analects.

One of the big surprises about having a developer business is how little it is about being a developer. Some days it feels like walking through a landmine, what with taxes or accounting, or the plethora of other things that go into running a company. Sounds pretty intense, but we made a choice between “collecting a paycheck every two weeks” and chose “bunch of work and pressure” instead. Every nit of our own “business” experience is reflected in our online solutions.

Life today is dominated by global enterprise and “the new world order”. We are a little old-fashioned and still believe small business owners play an important role in stimulating the economy.

Being creative, having courage, having confidence in your business, adding value to the world – we would rather have a conversation about these than to discuss the “.net/php/ruby/ python/worldpress/etc” tools. It is the results we care about.
