Hello All!
My name is Jessicia Nagle- the indie shutterbug. I have a Canon Powershot Pro 8.0- hoping for a digital SLR soon.
I think that most photographers in our day are switching to digital, because technology (whether we like it or not) is our future.
I believe any photographer should be able to present a photograph any way they want, to make the picture look of good quality. Sometimes that means one shot- no editing. Other times, that means shooting a few frames, and hours of editing in a software program.
Most people are interested in photography- and without the easy access of those fun cheap cameras- digital and film- we may not have had as many people interested in the activity.
In fact, when I was very young, around nine years old, my mother bought me my first camera. The first roll was filled with ugly shots of back of heads and ceilings, but I loved knowing that I took those pictures. I worked hard to make interesting photographs from that point on.
The way I see it is, it's not about the camera, its about the picture that comes out of the camera

I love taking pictures, whether it be for clients, friends and family, of myself, or anything else.
I adore taking photos, the best part about being a photographer is having someone think that
your art is good enough for them to purchase, frame, and be a part of their lives
.
I also enjoy the satisfaction I get from seeing someone look at their proofs for the first time.
The only stressful aspect of photography, in my opinion, is wedding photography. Its very hard to please everyone in the bridal party and family.
Something I'm working on! I would really love to have my own studio at one point in our local area. It would be a great accomplishment.
